What is a bad client?

Posted by | · · · · | Uncategorised

A bad client can refer to a customer or client who is difficult to work with, unprofessional, or unreasonable in their expectations or demands.

See below what SOL SOLO considers to be typical characteristics of a bad client:

◉ They are constantly changing their requirements or expectations, making it difficult for you to deliver what they want.

They don’t respect your time or expertise and may not value your input or advice.

They may be rude or disrespectful, making it uncomfortable or unpleasant to work with them.

They may not pay on time or may try to negotiate lower rates after the work has been completed.

◉ They may be dishonest or have unrealistic expectations about what can be achieved.

It’s important to note that not all difficult clients are necessarily bad clients. Sometimes, communication issues or misunderstandings can lead to challenges in working together. However, if a client consistently displays the above characteristics and makes it difficult for you to do your job, it may be best to part ways and find clients who are a better fit for your business.
